The Community of Interprofessional Practice for people with Dementia (CIP-D) project has been designed for professionals working with people with dementia who are looking to develop their knowledge base with regards managing the behavioural and psychological symptoms of dementia (BPSD). In addition, it aims to encourage leadership in this area, as well as the implementation of interprofessional practice principles to create a more holistic and sustainable approach to managing BPSD within both community care and aged care facility contexts.

You will be interested in this resource if you:

  • Currently work with, or care for, people with dementia
  • Want to learn more about how to effectively manage BPSD
  • Are part of the leadership team in an aged care facility or community care service where part of the role is to guide your team in the effective management of BPSD
  • Want to implement principles of leadership and interprofessional practice to more effectively manage BPSD
